Nacho is the Chief Trust Officer of Alastria, active member of the standardization commission and he has done a very relevant work at the European Self Sovereign Identity Framework (ESSIF).
Degree and PhD in Law. Founder and General Manager of Astrea, he has more than 12 years of experience as CISO. He is a researcher at iDerTec (Research Group on Innovation, Law and Technology), University of Murcia and has been a researcher at the Risk Governance Centre of the Autonomous University of Barcelona (GRISC UAB), senior consultant in information security, attached to the Directorate General of the Information Society. Telecommunications and Information Technology Centre. Government of Catalonia (March 2008-April 2009); Director of the advisory and research area of the Catalan Certification Agency (December 2002-February 2008), and previously, Director of the consulting and legal services area of the Electronic Certification Agency – ACE (July 1997-December 2002)
He has also been a member of the European steering group of security of networks and information of the European Union, of the European steering group of the European Initiative of Normalization of electronic signature, of the security infrastructure group of Electronic Signature of the European Institute of Telecommunications Standards, of the Certification Council of ASIMELEC, and member of information technologies of the National Access Commission, Evaluation and Documentary Trial.
Author of the book “ABC of electronic signature”, he has participated in twenty and five books on legal aspects of the information society, numerous articles and presentations in electronic signature, security and related matters.
