Advisor for Digital Identification, German Chancellery
Sebastian spent his last ten years learning the ropes as a tech and social entrepreneur, and he is now working at the intersection of tech/digital and society/democracy, serving in the following functions:
-> Chief Partnerships Officer (formerly COO) at Simprints, a nonprofit technology company that has provided ethical digital IDs to over 1m people in 12 countries.
-> Advisor on Digital Identification for the German Federal Chancellery.
-> Advisor on Ethics and Risk at ID2020, a global alliance advocating for the better and more ethical use of digital ID.
-> Volunteer at Brand New Bundestag, a grassroots organisation which aims to bring progressive, diverse candidates into the German Parliament.
-> Co-Founder at Fabrik, an alumni relations start-up with a mission of enabling alumni worldwide to be more connected, enhance their careers, and achieve more together.
