Nathan is a Partner at XReg Consulting, a group of former regulators with practical experience in formulating public policy and developing regulation for Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) and crypto-assets. Prior to joining XReg, Nathan served as a Technical Specialist on DLT at the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission, the first national regulatory authority globally to authorize and supervise crypto-asset companies under a purpose built regulatory regime. At XReg, Nathan assists policymakers and regulatory authorities to understand and formulate a suitable approach to crypto-assets, as well as advising the private sector in navigating the current “global regulatory minefield”. Nathan has recently advised the developer of a DeFi protocol in formulating a regulatory strategy.
